Dr. Thoughts Terms of Use

These Terms form an agreement between you and ZBLIFESTYLE - FZCO, licence no. 34293, concerning your use of Dr. Thoughts (previously called Thoughtz; only the name has changed).

1. Dr. Thoughts is an AI service

Dr. Thoughts provides AI-generated questions and responses intended to support personal reflection. You are interacting with an AI, not a person.

Dr. Thoughts is not a medical device, healthcare provider, therapist, counsellor, lawyer, financial adviser or emergency service. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any medical or mental-health condition. AI responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive or unsuitable. You remain responsible for your decisions and actions.

2. Emergency situations

Do not rely on Dr. Thoughts in an emergency. If you or another person is in immediate danger, contact the local emergency service or an appropriate crisis service directly.

Dr. Thoughts may use automated systems to identify possible safety concerns and display fixed support resources. These systems can miss a risk or identify one incorrectly. No person monitors conversations in real time, and Dr. Thoughts does not promise to contact emergency services, family members or another person.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of agreeing to these Terms. You must provide truthful age information. Dr. Thoughts may restrict access by location or where the service cannot lawfully be provided.

4. Account and guest use

You may use a limited number of messages without an account. Guest content is deleted within 7 days after the last use.

If you create an account, you are responsible for protecting access to it. Notify us promptly if you believe another person has accessed your account.

5. Free limits and Dr. Thoughts Pro

Dr. Thoughts currently provides:

  • Up to 10 AI chat messages for a guest device;
  • Up to 50 AI chat messages for a registered free account; and
  • Unlimited AI chat during an active Dr. Thoughts Pro entitlement, subject to reasonable security and abuse controls.

The first 1,000 qualifying registered accounts may receive Dr. Thoughts Pro without charge for 12 months. The benefit has no cash value, is personal to the account and ends automatically after the stated period. The user will not be charged at the end of the free founders' period unless the user separately purchases a subscription.

6. Subscriptions

Dr. Thoughts Pro may be offered as:

  • US$4.99 per month or US$49.99 per year in supported US storefronts; and
  • ₹199 per month or ₹1,999 per year in supported Indian storefronts.

Local currency, taxes and app-store pricing may vary. The final price displayed by Google Play immediately before purchase controls.

A paid subscription renews automatically for the same billing period unless cancelled through Google Play before renewal. You can manage or cancel the subscription through your Google Play subscription settings. Cancellation prevents the next renewal; access continues until the end of the paid period unless Google Play states otherwise.

Refunds, reversals and payment disputes for Google Play purchases are handled under Google Play's applicable rules. If a payment is refunded or revoked, Dr. Thoughts Pro access may end.

The website does not directly process subscription payments unless separate web-payment terms are introduced and disclosed before purchase.

7. Crisis resources remain free

Account controls, help information and crisis resources remain available without a subscription. Reaching the free-message limit ends further AI chat until the user signs in or, when Dr. Thoughts Pro is offered, subscribes. If a possible immediate safety risk is detected, Dr. Thoughts displays a fixed safety message and support resources but does not provide an unlimited emergency conversation.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of what you write. You give us a limited permission to host, process, reproduce and display your content only as necessary to operate, secure and improve Dr. Thoughts in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

We may use a chat for human review only where permitted by the Privacy Policy, including where you report a reply, separately share a chat, request support or a controlled safety-review process applies.

9. Acceptable use

You must not:

  • Use Dr. Thoughts to plan or facilitate harm, abuse, exploitation or illegal activity;
  • Attempt to bypass safety, access or payment controls;
  • Probe, overload, scrape, reverse engineer or disrupt the service;
  • Introduce malware or unauthorised automated traffic;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent affiliation with us;
  • Resell the service without written permission; or
  • Enter another person's sensitive information unnecessarily or unlawfully.

We may limit or suspend access to protect users, the service or legal compliance.

10. Availability and changes

Dr. Thoughts may change, suspend or discontinue features. We will provide reasonable notice where a change materially reduces a paid service, unless an immediate change is needed for safety, security, law or app-store compliance.

11. Intellectual property

Dr. Thoughts, its software, branding, original content and interface are owned by or licensed to ZBLIFESTYLE - FZCO. These Terms do not transfer those rights to you.

12. Disclaimer and liability

Dr. Thoughts is provided on an "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee that it will always be available, secure, accurate or suitable for a particular purpose.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable.

Subject to those mandatory rights, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, loss caused by reliance on an AI response, or events outside our reasonable control. Our aggregate liability relating to a paid service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Dr. Thoughts in the preceding 12 months or AED 367, except where applicable consumer law requires a greater remedy.

13. Ending use

You may stop using Dr. Thoughts and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, safety, security, non-payment or legal reasons. Where reasonably possible, we will tell you the reason and allow access to account data before termination.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in Dubai. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to use another court or local law.
